Thank you Olivia for help me with a good caregiver and plan to help me. I am doing good. I also want to let you know how my caregiver is very understanding of my needs and developmental difficulties. My group home at Royal is clean because of this agency providing me 24 hour care.
I want to say that Chris was overwhelming me with my auditory processes disabilities. But I found a way to make it work for me. I tought him about my auditory processes disabilities by speak less words and direct language in short and simple words one sentence at a time. Example of this be. Andy I need you to go to the bathroom. Andy I need you to stop talking loudly. Take a deep breath. Everything is good. Now can you try using your device to tell me. He has done this very well for me.
My caregivers see my disability and understands my disability. They are great with me. I am going to be working on doing more good stuff in the future with Comfort Care.
One last thing I like to say. I can definitely see a difference in the way people talk to me here compared to a royal home care. I feel comfortable with using my device and being who I am and not someone who I am not.
Now I know my device is going to be funded for my communication needs and behaviors and routine. I have help I need to use my communication device and feel comfortable with using it. I am aware of how I more relaxed and comfortable when I use my device with others and how others respond better to me with my device. It really makes me feel happy to use it. My caregivers at Royal had me use my communication device a lot and made me feel comfortable with using it. I had issues with using my device with the office staff.
With help of my caregivers I am helping them with a few chores and other stuff as I want to. It makes me feel good to have someone who is like my last caregiver with Royal.
Glory and Liz are wonderful to work with. They have been diligent in finding care that suits my Mom’s needs.
I have a aide with them he is such a wonderful young man that does everything I ask him to do. And to be honest when he comes in the morning to work for me I never am have to ask him to do anything he just goes and does it himself. Countrywide I thank u guys so much for finding such amazing and hard working young man. U guys r such a great company and I am with u guys forever. So with that I say thank u from the bottom of my heart for finding this young man.
Argenis Is a pleasant and vibrant young man., His personality is of an outstanding God fearing person.
He draws you in, He is very attentive when hosting events. He is funny and pleasant to be around.. this is a well rounded young man. I pray God continues to bless the works of you his hands.. much blessings sent to this home care facility.
