Kelly met me at my mom’s home prior to our caregiver’s arrival. I felt instantly at ease. She helped coordinate with hospice and asked questions that would not have occurred to me.
Our caregiver, Jackie, was perfect in every way. She was able to position my mother properly and take care of her physical needs so that she could be as comfortable as possible. Her help allowed me and my family to spend quality time with my mother.
Although my mother only lived for one day after we engaged Home Instead, that one day was as peaceful and comfortable as it could have been. I cannot imagine what our day would have been like without Jackie’s care.

Dear Mr. Levin and Ms. Grieco,
I wanted to take a moment to talk to you about how terrific one of your employees was in an hour of my need.
Today, I had surgery. I had arranged on Monday of last week to be picked up. The person who arranged the pickup and her replacement were both out on Friday when I found out that my ride was not available on Monday.
I contacted your office and spoke to Valerie Greene, your office coordinator. It would have been quite easy for her to tell me that she couldn’t do anything about the situation.
Instead, she dropped everything, which I know must have been difficult for her, and began looking for a replacement. Today, Brandy picked me up right on time and right where they asked her to wait at the hospital.
I can’t say enough about Valerie. She didn’t complain about any of this, and when I talked to her on Friday, she assured me that everybody at the office would know what needed to be said when the hospital called to get in touch with Brandy.
This kind of attention to detail and desire to help a client is not common these days.
I hope you have a chance to let Valerie know how much she has been appreciated. If you keep documentation in your files, I would love to see something about this incident go into Valerie’s file. I hope you keep Valerie on for a long time. She’s a real asset to your company.
